  • Professor at the Orthodox Annunciation School, Beirut (1954–1958 & 1964–1965).

  • Professor at the Higher School of Engineers, Beirut (1955–1957).

  • Professor at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts , Beirut (1957–1961).

  • Professor at the Italian Cultural Institute, Lebanon (1958–1962).

  • Professor at the Modern Institute of Lebanon, Fanar (1959–1961 & 1963–1965).

  • Professor at the National Institute of Fine Arts, Lebanese University, Beirut (1965–1973).

  • Head of Workshop at the National Institute of Fine Arts, Lebanese University (1973–1978).

  • Professor at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (1976–1978).

  • President of the Lebanese Artists Association for Painters and Sculptors (LAAPS) (1967–1969).

  • Affiliation of LAAPS with the UNESCO International Foundation for Fine Arts.

  • Project submitted to the Minister of National Education for the establishment of a National Museum for Modern Art (1967-1968).

  • Jean created an artwork for the Maghrebi Youth Congress of Lebanese origin on a large-scale billboard marking one of the earliest artistic uses of billboard media in Lebanon (1972).
